After two years of silence, Alan Wake developer Remedy is gearing up to release a new trailer of its game in Finland to coincide with the release of the Max Payne movie.

A Finnish source has told VG247 this morning that a Pelaaja story claiming a new Alan Wake trailer is to be shown at the Finnish premiere of the Max Payne movie is “100 percent true”.

Alan Wake is a “psychological action thriller” from the creators of Max Payne.

Alan Wake is a video game being developed by Remedy Entertainment, the Finnish company behind the Max Payne games.

The game is being developed for Windows Vista and Xbox 360.

A new real-time trailer for the game is scheduled to be shown on 15th October 2008, just before the Max Payne film premiere.

Remedy Entertainment wants to get inside your head…and completely screw with it.

The character Alan Wake is modeled after Ilkka Villi, a Finnish professional actor and writer.
